Weather Report #1: Making an entrance or making an exit?

Welcome to The Weather Report. My aim is for this to be a semi-regular posting series that will show what I do beyond the projects I work on. What do I talk about? How long should these be? Maybe I will have a theme each month? Who knows... As the first post in the series, let's start at the beginning (where I'm currently sat)... Heavy Weather launched in July 2025. As I sit on a train travelling to the deepest, darkest corner of Cumbria to visit family, it gave me some time to reflect on starting Heavy Weather. Pursuing my own practice fills me with a mix of excitement and nervousness accompanied by a foreboding sense of over-exposure, but behind it all is a strong sense of certainty and determination. I am certain I can make it work, I am certain that there will be tough times, I am certain I will make mistakes along the way, but I am sure that I will do some really good stuff, too. Just like the seats next to me, my solo business journey may well be long, possibly lonely, but never-the-less full of surprises and highly rewarding. Before I get ahead of myself, I must first think about how this Weather Report series can be framed... Maybe I will have a theme per post. Let's find out. Until next time!Phil.
